What is the vertical diet? It’s a way of eating designed to help high-level athletes take in the large amount of calories they need to gain weight, increase muscle mass and strength, and maximize workouts. The central premise of the diet is to eat foods that are easily digestible and don’t aggravate your GI system. Doing so, according to the Vertical Diet, will help you actually absorb the nutrients you’re eating

Stan Efferding is an IFBB professional bodybuilder and a powerlifter competing in the Southern Powerlifting Federation (SPF). He held the all-time raw world powerlifting records in the 275-pound-class in the Total without knee wraps and in the Squat without knee wraps. Due to his enormous physical strength, regularly competing in professional powerlifting contests along his career in professional competitive bodybuilding, Efferding is often referred to as the “world’s strongest bodybuilder”.

Stan studied Exercise Science at the University of Oregon and has been training high school, Collegiate, and Professional athletes for over 25 years. Stan conducts seminars all over the country for various sports and nutrition and training techniques. He has appeared in many magazines and writes for Muscular Development, Flex Magazine, and Power Magazine. Stan is also a successful Entrepreneur having built three different start-up businesses into multi-million dollar companies.
